John Tierney, MD, MA

Dr. Tierney is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has over 35 years of experience. He offers full-service Adult Psychiatry and as a Geriatric Neuropsychiatrist he also provides unique expertise in Evaluation and Treatment of Cognitive Impairment and Dementia Syndromes. In addition, he frequently performs Forensic Psychiatric Evaluations especially about legal questions of cognitive impairment, capacity, and competence. Dr. Tierney earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado, a Master of Arts in Psychology at Saint Mary’s University, and his MD at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
